On Wednesday 17 September we reconvene for our next expert talk , author Mike Stimpson talking about “George Brown… Littlemore’s sporting hero!”, stories of England’s most complete all-round cricketer and lively character, from his early life in Littlemore through his sporting life to his later career.
On Wednesday 16 October, we have a change to our original programme in order to reflect the upcoming canonisation of John Henry Newman, the first English person who has lived since the 1600s to be made a saint. Dr Philip Salmon, an expert historian, will talk on “Littlemore’s Saint: John Henry Newman and our community”
